Placed order, my credit card was immediately charge, received invoice in email, THEN NOTHING. When i called them 7 days later they said inventory is updated every 24-48 hours, so it must have sold out during that time. So i asked why it still shows in stock, no answer. She said shipping should have called me, so i asked why they hadn't? Again no answer. I asked for credit to be immediately put on my Credit card so she passed me to Customer service manager Mike. Mike said he would put credit in system immediately, so I asked him for the authorization number on the credit. He said to hold on and then put me back in the menu prompt of the phone system. I then had to call back and got same woman who said Mike just put thru the credit and I should have an email in my in box, so I checked. I did see I had a email with the credit invoice so I said thank you and hung up. But that was not the end of it, I checked my credit card 3 days, no credit	Overall Rating

Was sent wrong lamp twice due to their "stock number system" errors, but was treated like it was my fault. 8 weeks and I still don't have a lamp. I'm out $305, plus $25 in return shipping charges. The customer service has a "flippant" attitude. They refuse to send me new lamp now because I "got angry" with them, STILL waiting on refund. Will be filing a claim with credit card company!!! After I received my "bulb" and I found out it wasn't a complete lamp replacement, I emailed them and said I wanted to send it back. They refused!!! So, they left me no choice but to disassemble my current lamp housing and replace the bulb. After FOUR HOURS I finally got everything put back together and my projector back up and running. I've replaced the lamp in my BenQ PE8700 before and it's taken less than FIVE MINUTES when the lamp I purchased was already pre-assembled in the housing. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! Save yourself a LOT of headaches and just spend an extra $10 elsewhere and buy a complete lamp that is already assembled in the housing. I WOULD HAVE IF I HAD KNOWN I WAS JUST BUYING A BULB!!! Retailer Response (09/28/2006): We state very clearly on the main page of our website (http://www.myprojectorlamps.com) that \\\"we sell only projector lamps and not the plastic housings\\\" - these are the exact words on the main page of website. The return process was pretty quit but when i recieved a new bulb it was the wrong size so i had to send it back again. i wasn't compensated for any of the cost of shipping it back wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience which upset me. hopefully the buld will last the 3000-5000 hours it's suppose this time around. Please contact us and we will glady refund your shipping costs, this is standard procedure for our company and we are sorry you didn\\'t get compensated. You have to fit the new lamp within the existing housing already in the projector. This is fairly simple and clear instructions are provided - for mine it amounted to a few screws and plastic clips and took about 1/2 hour being cautious not to damage the existing casing. The lamp arrived in a couple of days (to UK), well packed. Highly recommended if you don't mind a bit of minor tinkering!	Overall Rating
