Site showed product available and I received an email confirmation. Site did not show order cancelled. Took 3 phone calls to reach someone at the store, to find out that they cancelled the order for no stock. Claimed they sent an email and then hung up! Overall Rating

Very lame website. Shows a stock of 514 units. Order was canceled because of no stock?? If you need help with your web site my 14 yr old son is not busy this summer. Ordered through TrioComputers. Here is the response- Thank you for shopping with TrioComputers.com. We received your order, but unfortunately we can not complete it because of the unavailability of this product. The stock you may see is actually in the returns warehouse and is not in shipping condition. We do not have this product in stock at this moment and you will not be charged for this order. 514 units that are not in shipping condition. Time to order a new forklift driver. Oh wait they are out of stock/not in shipping condition. We will inform you by e-mail when the product becomes available. No need because I will have ordered it from a company that knows how to drive their fork lift and/or use their computers. Overall Rating

I'm just disappointed. I bought an HP LP2065 from trio, (triointernational.com/all.cfm/partno/EF227A4#ABA/stat/pricegrabber) I used "Best Choice" (same-day) shipping. But from the FedEx tracking page, it took 1 extra business day to ship. Fine. The monitor I got was used or refurbished! Judging by the above webpage, it shouldn't have been. The protective plastic was missing from 1 of the monitor cables, the plug, and (presumably) the panel itself. The menu diags show "only" 174 hours used so it's not horrible. The user manual was missing. Reading from the online version, I'm also missing a software CD and a USB A-to-B cable. When I inserted the panel into the stand, it wouldn't lock. 1 of the screws on the stand had fallen out and 1 was just missing. I had to move the screws around with a 25mm allen wrench to make it work. The monitor itself looks usable so 2 stars. I hope nothing else is wrong; at this rate I don't want to try dealing w/customer support. Sorry. Overall Rating

I placed an order 5/14/07 for four products. There were plenty listed in stock. We received an invoice in the mail several days later indicating the products shipped 5/16/07 by "UPS Ground (comm)". No tracking number. It has been 11 business days - UPS ground takes 6 from NY to Seattle. I called on the phone looking for support. All phone options direct to the same extension (#11). No answer. I hope a rep calls me back soon. Overall Rating

We called Trio two times to make sure that our computer was in stock and could ABSOLUTELY be shipped by the next day. A snotty man said, "I don't know how many ways I can say the same thing. Yes, it will be there." While waiting for the computer to arrive a DAY later, we were sent an email by the manager saying that the distributor refused our overnight shipping. Period..I called upset and all he could offer was an apology. I reordered the computer from PC Rush. Overall Rating

Bought a Lenovo webcam from these guys. When the box arrived, it was empty inside. I tried to contact support many times but nobody answered the phone. Tried sending an email but nobody replied. Worst shopping experience ever. They are scammers. BUYERS BEWARE!

The online system shwoed one in stock and I confirmed the inventory with the "Online Help". I asked for the pricing as quoted on PriceGrabber when placing the order (the online order was for a higher price). The order was cancelled due to lack of inventory!
Retailer Response (02/08/2008): Unfortunately there was only 1 unit left and we received 2 orders. We have a first come first serve policy thus only one customer was able to receive their product. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but did notify this customer the very same day the order was placed.

This is the last time we will deal with TrioComputers. Not only did we have to fill out an extra form for a credit card purchase, but the website did not accurately reflect inventory quantities, not a good business model. It took 3 days from the order until now to realize that they did not have the items in stock, much too long. Overall Rating

I cannot belive how fast the team at Trio completed my order. I have not done business with Trio in the past but they will now be my go to company. The customer service was is 5* rating. I needed two processors that my regular distributor could not deliver for at least another 2 weeks. A+ for everything they have done for me and my customers.

I have a very bad experience. As others already wrote, TrioComputers posts false stock information and then cancels order. They shouldn't be given any chance to place offers at PriceGrabber any more.

We received 2 orders earlier in the day from other customers and did not have any stock left to fulfill this order. We did inform the customer immediately of this issue and are currently trying to resolve this matter with them.

As everyone else has written, they canceled my order claiming to be out of stock - even though their website had 70 listed as in stock. I should have learned my lesson earlier. I tried to order from them about 3 months ago and the same thing happened. Last time, they didn't even bother to let me know it had been canceled. At least this time they took the time to lie to me about why they canceled their order. The truth is that they price below others to lure you to their site. Almost all of these electronics sites use the same back end company for fulfillment, and they use pricing tactics to try to get you to order through them. Trio is not a company to depend on. The prices they list are not realistic. If it turns out to be too low for them, they just cancel the order. Overall Rating
