Description: Providing an ISDN BRI interface with an integrated NT-1, the Cisco 804 is ready for service. It is also ITU X.25 compliant for communications over the D-Channel. With this feature, you can cost-effectively support transaction-oriented applications such as Point-Of-Sale (POS) authorizations. It's secure, too, with Route and router authentication, integrated firewall, built-in encryption and GRE tunneling. The 804 has the added bonus of having a four-port Ethernet hub built right in, as well as two Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) connections (RJ-11), so that you can handle standard analog data, modems, and faxes. It has an MPC 850 33MHz processor, 4MB of DRAM (12MB Max), and 8MB Flash (Intel MiniCard) Memory (12MB Max). The 804 is easy to set-up with the included Cisco Fast Step installation software and color-coded cabling. Even users with no technical experience can be installing, testing and activating the Cisco 804 in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, the 804 utilizes dynamic addressing to automatically assign IP addresses using the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
