Description:  The DEFPA-DB, a new addition to the DEC FDDI controller/PCI family of PCI-to-FDDI adapters, provide 100 Mbits-per-second FDDI LAN connectivity for any PCI V2.1-compliant host platform, and are backward-compatible with any PCI V2.0-compliant host platform. The PCI I/O bus and FDDI industry standards, together with the robust DIGITAL DMA engine adapter architecture, deliver a LAN adapter technology that provides high system-level availability, resiliency under load (host system and network) and transparent fault tolerance with auto-failover.
