The FlexPoint product line provides an extensive range of networking and communication connectivity options across different protocols and media types.The FlexPoint 232 is a serial RS-232 to fiber converter, automatically supporting speeds of up to 115,200 baud providing the flexibility to facilitate a wide range of needs and applications.This converter extends the distance of the connection to 5 km (3.1 mi.) using multimode fiber and to 58km (36mi.) using single-mode fiber. This wide range of distance support provides solutions to the connectivity needs of short haul as well as long haul fiber users. Most distances are available with ST and SC fiber connectors.
